Social Media Assistant

ICEA lion is seeking to recruit a Social media assistant whose key role is to support brand and business promotion as well as the customer experience-related activities  of ICEA LION Group’s digital/online/social media properties and audiences.

Key Responsibilities: 

Including but not limited to: 

∙ In conjunction with the wider marketing team, contribute to the development of strategies, initiatives and budgets to deliver on ICEA LION Group’s regional strategic objectives 

∙ Provide insights on the most cost effective digital/online/social media investments and report on expenditure and value for money ∙ Draft content for social media content calendars for review by wider marketing team. Where applicable, do so in partnership with  business partners such as the digital agency  

∙ Execute ongoing and approved digital/online/social campaigns according to brand guidelines, strategy and budget e.g. posting and  promoting digital media content  

∙ Maintain the records, logs, reports, analyses for our digital/online/social media platforms and audiences for real-time review by the  wider marketing team 

∙ Provide insights on how to promote the desired brand image and voice on ICEA LION’s digital/online/social media platforms  and audiences  

∙ Provide key audience/platform insights, trends and best practice (including competitor analysis) that inform and deliver on strategy  as well as provide innovation ideas/insights to enhance our brand, products and services 

∙ Generate weekly and monthly reports to track progress and report on performance using metrics/tools such as web analytics and  Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tool 

∙ Source for relevant and impactful content as directed by the wider marketing team for ICEA LION’s digital channels to keep our  communities of fans and followers engaged and excited about our brand 

∙ Provide analyses and direction for the influencer strategy

∙ Provide customer and user experience suggestions based on engagement on ICEA LION’s digital channels to inform strategy ∙ Offer email marketing support via our CRM portal – create all ad track links as needed for email analysis and leads through tracking ∙ Support the digital/online/social media requirements of corporate/staff initiatives so as to deliver on corporate objectives ∙ Support sales/business development by monitoring and providing insights on lead generation from our digital platforms and  audiences 

∙ Deliver on the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the ICEA LION Multi-Channel Contact Centre and other project teams ∙ Support the ICEA LION Intranet Community initiatives and engagement  

∙ Continually develop competencies in line with personal and professional goals in order to deliver on functional objectives 

Skills & Knowledge 

∙ Knowledge of digital/online/social media platforms, audience management and analytics 

∙ Copy writing skills 

∙ Content generation skills 

∙ Strong written communication skills are necessary with an emphasis on grammar/ spelling excellence ∙ Online and internet/intranet tools proficient 

∙ Must demonstrate the ability to write professionally for varied audiences 

∙ Good interpersonal skills 

∙ Good organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task 

∙ Ability to effectively co-ordinate the efforts of stakeholders such as colleagues and business partners  ∙ Strong team member and ability to promote a positive atmosphere throughout the organization. 

∙ Must be a self-starter and take initiative  

∙ High level of energy with the ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment 

∙ Capable of working with minimum supervision, able to manage time and meet tight deadlines 

∙ Photography, videography & editing skills would be an added advantage 

Education & Experience 

∙ 1 years’ experience in social media/ community management 

∙ A certificate in Digital Marketing / Digital Media Management is an added advantage 

∙ Diploma / Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Advertising or any other relevant field would be an added  advantage
